Nazrultirtha was established in May 2014 as a cultural centre in remembrance of Kazi Nazrul Islam, the rebel poet of Bengal. Besides having an exhibition on the life and time of the poet and a digital archive on the invaluable documents of his literary activities, this cultural centre is now known for a state of the art public library having 15000 books and facilities of digital reading, on its second and third floor, three cinema halls to screen movies, two huge art galleries for holding photography & painting exhibitions , a fascinating open air theater. As a cultural centre with cine attraction, hundreds of people throng the corridors of Nazrultirtha and enjoy the architectural and cultural ambience of the building. A rendezvous for art loving people.

Fill up the Google Form and upload the Photographs (max 5)
Uploading guidelines:

You can upload maximum of 5 photographs in JPEG format at 72 dpi without watermark. Resolution should be within 2400 x 3600 pixels.

File size for each photograph should be within 5 MB each.
Next Procedure:
After uploading the photographs, submitted photographs will be reviewed by the selection committee and selected Photographers will receive selection mail within 7 days of the submission. After receiving selection mail, payment of exhibition fee should be made within 10 days, failing which selection may be cancelled.

Payment of Exhibition Fee:
First Stage of the Registration is free. If selected, you can exhibit 1 photograph for Rs 1500/- or USD 40 , 2 photographs for Rs 2900/- or USD 75, 3 photographs for Rs 4200/- or USD 105. Printing and Framing of the photographs will be done by us.
High Resolution File:
After receiving payment, selected photographers need to mail us the high resolution copy of the selected photographs (without watermark), one self portrait and one brief about themselves.
Printing & Framing will be done by us:
Photographs will be printed in 12 inches x 18 inches and will be framed with 2 inch off white mount and 1 inch frame (total 18 inch x 24 inch frame to frame. On the last day of the exhibition, it will be returned to the photographers.
Return of Photographs:
All the framed photographs will be returned to the respective photographers. Exhibited Photographs are need to be collected positively from Nazrul Tirtha on the last day of the exhibition i.e., on January 20, 2024 from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
If you are unable to attend / collect the photographs, then it can be sent via courier to your registered address. Courier charge for Rs 550/- is need to paid separately (Cash on Delivery)

Category 2 : From 20 inch x 24 inch to 30 inch x 36 inch (including frame)
For Sculptures :
Maximum size allowed for sculpture is 24x24x48 (Height) Inches and it should not occupy more than 16 cubic feet and weight should not exceed 40kg in stone and 50kg in metal.

Return of Artworks from the Gallery :
Exhibited Artworks are need to be collected positively from Nazrul Tirtha on the last day of the exhibition i.e., on January 15, 2024 from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Exhibits will not be sent by railway, air, or roadways parcel courier services, it should be collected personally or through representative only. If sent by courier, Courier charge is need to paid separately (Cash on Delivery)

Sale of the Exhibits :
The exhibits selected for the exhibition will be offered for sale. Please give the total price of the artwork including 25% commission of Retro Kolkata. If artwork is sold, artists will receive 75% of total price mentioned after deducting 25% commission of Retro Kolkata.
Catalogue :

All the artists and photographers will get a complimentary copy of the catalogue at the inauguration function.

If needed, you can buy extra copy of catalogue by paying the price.

Digital copy of Exhibition catalogue will be available for download from our website.
Mode of Payment of Exhibition Fee :
Payment should me made Online via Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/Wallet/NEFT to the account of Redshouts Network Pvt Ltd (parent company of Retro Kolkata). Payment link will be sent to all the selected participants through email. Payment link will also be available on our Official Website (www.retrokolkata.net)
