Retro Kolkata Magazine, a renowned publication in the field of arts and culture, has announced that Divyansh Jhunjhunwala, a talented student from the Symbiosis School of Visual Arts and Photography in Pune, has been selected as the featured photographer for the upcoming International Photography and Painting exhibition. The exhibition will be held from June 16 to June 18 at Arts Acre, located in Newtown, Kolkata.
Divyansh Jhunjhunwala, an aspiring photographer specializing in travel, wildlife, and fashion photography, expressed his excitement about being chosen for this prestigious event. In his introduction, he said, "I am Divyansh Jhunjhunwala, a student of Symbiosis School of Visual Arts and Photography, Pune, and I am pursuing Travel, Wildlife, and Fashion Photography."
Jhunjhunwala will be showcasing two distinct projects at the exhibition, titled "Surkhi" and "Mohakta." Speaking about his projects, he explained, "'Surkhi' (Red) is about how my muse and myself perceive the color red. A color that embodies passion, confidence, and excitement. The frame was just an aesthetic element used to complement the overall theme and composition."
The photographer also shared details about his second project, stating, "'Mohakta' (Glamour) is the outcome of one of the shots from the trial for my project 'Surkhi.' I was shooting in monochrome because I wanted to create a dramatic look and experiment with lighting to achieve a captivating effect."
