MIA FERRARA BASEL has an illustrious background as an educator in rural communities within Buenos Aires and has further honed her photographic prowess through courses and workshops in the Capital Federal. She is a member of the "Detrás de la Mirada" group, where her work "Interiores & Recuerdos" has been chosen to be part of the “Art International Show” in Kolkata.
Her involvement with the collective "365 días 365 fotos" led to her solo exhibition "Instantáneas" at the Espacio Cultural Borges and the Roca Museum in Buenos Aires. MIA FERRARA BASEL's photographic journey has taken her to Ethiopia, where she captured compelling tribal images, which contributed to a collective publication.
Her travels for socio-religious research have spanned Nepal and India, and she has been part of a photographic collective traversing Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, comprising members from various countries.
