Introducing Pallabi Guha, Fashion Blogger & Influencer from Kolkata

My first collaboration was surprisingly with Myntra as a Fashion Ambassador from Kolkata. I am very particular about the brands I work with. I look at the intention of the brand, the campaign idea and obviously the deal before saying yes to a brand.

Retro Kolkata : First of all, thanks a lot for accepting our invitation for an interview. Please say something about you. About your career as a fashion Blogger & Influencer. How did you get started?

Pallabi : I started blogging in 2016, when I was in my 3rd year of Engineering. I was always very fond of styling and I used to post styling looks on Myntra. Back then, Myntra had a section where users can post looks and give styling tips. I was very active over there. One day, I got a call from the Myntra Team saying that they love the looks I post and want me to post more. They sent a Fila bag and 2 outfits with a letter. That's how I got started. Currently, I have a full-time job apart from blogging. I try to manage both flawlessly.

Retro Kolkata : Tell us about your fashion mantra? Any fashion icons that you personally like or follow?

Pallabi : Be comfortable in whatever you're wearing! Oh! I have many on my list.

Retro Kolkata : How do you get involved with your followers and find the best way to give them the content they want?

Pallabi : I do Instagram polls to find out what they like and what they don't.

Retro Kolkata : How do you select brands you work with? When was your first collaboration with a brand?

I go all kuchu-puchu whenever I see a dog.
