Kate Sharma is an Indian Television & Film Actress. She started her career as a model by working in various TVC ads and print shoots. In 2016 she started her career from the Hindi film ‘The Magical Love Saga’ and thereafter she appeared in TC serial ‘Kasam Teri Pyar Ki’. In 2016 she has also won the title ‘Miss India Online’ and ‘Miss India Selfie Queen’

RK : First of all thanks a lot for accepting our invitation for an interview. it’s a great pleasure to have you as our Guest. Let’s start from the first question… Let’s have a jump into the past. What was your dream since you were a kid? …what would you like to do?
Kate Sharma : Hey, Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to spread my words among your audience.
Well , from the starting I always wanted to become an actor , was confident but because of lack of support of family and financial issues I was behind, but from the college , colony and school I was always the attention seeker , as my friends used to call me “ Katrina Kaif” , but without anyone’s support it was difficult to come in this industry , so was studying law , but after graduation I got a kick from certain problems, so I decided that I want to go for it and that’s how in 2016 it started.
RK : Please say something about your career as a fashion model & actress . How did you get started?
Kate Sharma : First I started appearing in small cameos , I used to go to auditions daily from Ulhasnagar to Andheri by train or bus or auto , I also used to travel midnight. Jumbo Wadapav and Pani puri were my support of the day. That time was difficult because you don’t know who is right and who is wrong.
But from Facebook I followed contacts and then I started to go and meet people.
Then I participated in online MISS Selfie Queen Contest and in MISS Pune Contest , won that in 2016.
RK : What is that specific moment in your life which lit the spark in you to become a model?
Kate Sharma : My breakup..!! Always had big dreams, but never took a chance, I got kick from life than I wanted to do something big. So came in this roller coaster ride.
Aah !! Well I think that’s enough to say.
RK : What was your first big break in the industry ?
Kate Sharma : Television, I started from small cameos , then in 2017 after so many auditions I got a show ‘Paramavtaar Shri Krishna’ in negative lead Rani Asti . After that I got one more, ‘Meri Durga’ on star plus as Arti, negative lead. God willing and luck went well in serials. Now working for movies and want to explore my talent on a larger scale.
RK : What has been your favorite shoot / campaign / work to date?
Kate Sharma : My first international shoot , which was in Thailand for a Music video .. ‘Fanney Khan’ , releasing very soon.
RK : What do you enjoy most in modeling?
Kate Sharma : I enjoy every bit of it, can work 24 ,48 ,72 continue hours for my passion. Camera is my first love and second is food.
RK : Sometimes the modeling industry gets a bad rap with the jealousy and egos encountered between other models and agencies. Was this true for you? Have you managed to tough it out and make good friends?
Kate Sharma : Well, Good friends in industry are quite difficult , you have to fight your own battle , and show world , But I believe if you are good , luck will be in your favour.
RK : What’s your beauty regime? Would you like to share some of your best beauty secrets?
Kate Sharma : I eat and I burn.. that’s my mantra. Mostly I use home remedies for my face and body. Like tomato scrub on face , besan and haldi, curd , coffee and sugar scrub for tan remove.
RK : How do you stay in Shape?
Kate Sharma : No short cut. Work out , work out and work out ..
RK : You've started your career in TV show named 'Paramavtaar Shri Krishna'. Do you prefer to work on TV or cinema?
Kate Sharma : TV will always be a important part of my life as it has given me fame and support in my beginning , but as an actor want to explore my talent as much as I can.
RK : What have been the greatest challenges you’ve faced in your career so far and as per your opinion, what are the main challenges in fashion industry today?
Kate Sharma : See, if you are in this fashion industry confidence is the first factor you need. Networking is must and yeah, no over confidence, because it will ruin things.
Main Challenge you face here is everyday is not a golden day, so you have to keep patience and keep the good work up.
