Interview with Riya Banik | India | Guest Model | World Fashion

First of all, thanks a lot for accepting our invitation for an interview.

RK : Please say something about you. About your career as model. How did you get started?

Riya : Well, as a person I’m very moody but when it comes to my work I’m very much dedicated . So I was studying and never intended to pursue a career in modeling or acting but destiny had it. I casually did participate in one of the prestigious beauty pageant of eastern India called “Sananda Tilottama” and from there I did start my career .

RK : What was your first big break in the industry ?

Riya : Of course when I did my first film “Eagoler Chokh”.

RK : What do you enjoy most in modeling?

Riya : I enjoy every bit of modeling .my spontaneity motivates me each and every time in giving new expressions and poses ,which I consider one of the most enjoyable thing in modeling.

RK : What has been your favorite shoot / campaign / work to date?

Riya : Actually , till date all my ad campaigns have been my favorite but my recent association with “Cadbury India” was really exciting and enjoyable one.

RK : How would you describe your personal style, Where do you pull your inspiration from?

Riya : I like to keep it simple and classy . My one and only inspiration is my mother and she does a fine job of guiding me.

RK : Sometimes the modeling industry gets a bad rap with the jealousy and egos encountered between other models and agencies. Was this true for you? Have you managed to tough it out and make good friends?

Riya : Yes! I did encounter such things but did not let myself bother too much about it .. lets consider I’ve my followers and fans to keep me going .

RK : What’s your beauty regime? Would you like to share some of your best beauty secrets?

Riya : I don’t have any beauty regime that I follow religiously on a daily basis but I keep myself hydrated throughout the day and also I cleanse and moisturize twice a day.

RK : How do you stay in Shape?

Riya : Well, I’m blessed soul ! I don’t do anything to be in shape .And I know you guys won’t believe but it’s true .

RK : Do you have any Beauty/Skin Care tips or Tricks to look fresh and rested for early morning Photoshoot?

Riya : I personally believe in order to look fresh a person needs to sleep well so if I have an early morning photoshoot I make sure that I sleep well the night before.

RK : What skills according to you are necessary to be a successful model ?

Riya : One has be very disciplined and focused in order to be a successful model and continuously strive to put her/his best feet forward.
