Thyra Holst & Anjan Ghosh Duo have been selected as the Nominated Artist for 'AURA 2024 - International Photography & Art Exhibition'. This event, organized by Retro Kolkata Magazine, is set to be a highlight in Kolkata's cultural calendar.
The exhibition will be hosted at Nazrul Tirtha, Newtown, Kolkata, spanning over a week from January 13 to January 21, 2024. Thyra Holst, hailing from Germany, has had a profound journey in the world of art. This artistic inclination evolved as she ventured into the realm of fine arts, exploring mediums such as photography, acrylic structure painting, and felting sheep's wool.
The turning point in her career came upon meeting Anjan Ghosh, a photographer from Kolkata. This encounter led to the formation of the artist duo Thyra&Anjan. Together, they have developed a distinctive style of digital painting. Their collaboration is a blend of Thyra's conceptual acumen and Anjan's spirited creativity, resulting in artworks that encourage self-exploration and discovery among viewers.
